To strive and promote the development of all cadets.
To provide financial aid for cadets.
To assist in the recruitment of new cadets.
To assist cadets in continuing their education in JROTC by means of educational trips and summer camp.
To purchase equipment and other supplies not funded by the Brunswick Co. Board of Education or the United States Army.
To assist in any function such as the Annual Cadet Ball.
For the benefit of cadets not funded by the Board of Education such as field trips and other activities that would concern the Parent Association.
To join the Parent Association a membership fee of $5.00 is required.
This fee gives the member a voting right on all matters brought before the executive board.
Members must be present at the time of meetings when possible.
If member cannot attend, your vote will not be counted.
The fee also covers cost for newsletters, brochures, and membership certificates.
Memberships are renewed at the time of a new school year.
The Executive Board shall consist of elected officers voted by the members of the Parent Association.
The Executive Board shall handle all business of the Organziation.
Meetings shall be held monthly unless otherwise stated.
The Executive board shall not have voting privileges.

An officer who does not comply with the assigned responsibilities may be relieved of office by the remaining officers of the Executive Board.
The President, with the approval of the Association members, shall make appointment for a replacement.

5.Fund Raising Chairman
Duties of Offices
The President shall:
-preside at all meetings of the executive board and general meeting of the organization and at any other special meetings held.
-appoint committee heads if needed.
-make interim appointments as needed with the approval of the Association.
-sign all contracts, treasure reports, and membership cards.
The Vice President shall:
-perform the duties of an absent President.
-perform such duities as assigned by the President.
The Secretary shall:
-record the minutes of all meetings held by the Board and of the Association.
-Co-sign all contracts for the Association with the President.
-report the minutes of the previous meeting.
The Treasurer shall:
-sign all checks.
-have charge of all funds for the Association.
-present a monthly financial report to the Board and share with the Membership.
-sign all membership cards with the President.
-inform the Senior Army Instructor of any transaction or funds being disbursed.
Fund Raising Chair
The Fund Raising Chair shall:
-be in charge of all fund raising events.
-assign fund raising committees when necessary.
-turn in all funds raised to the Treasurer.
Terms of Office
Officers shall serve as many terms as elected.
Election should be held annually.
Members shall make nominations and vote on the persons running for positions for the Parent Association Board.
Incoming and Outgoing officers shall go through a transition of adminsitration to better understand their responsibilities and duities as stated in these By Laws.
There shall be a monthly meeting held during the months of September through April, except December.
Special meetings may be called by the President of the Board.
Notice of special meetings shall be given to the Association members and those concerned at least 7 days in advance.
Meetings will start at 7:00 PM and end no later than 9:00 PM
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each of the months as indicated above.
Meetings are to be held in an orderly fashion and with the Association members attention given to the business at hand.
