 ALL ABOUT MR. RECKERD Hello Members of the Bulldog Family, It is my honor and pleasure to be working with the Cedar Grove students, faculty, parents, and community as an Assistant Principal in 2011-12. Before moving to Cedar Grove as an AP I have served in New Hanover and Brunswick counties as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher. I began my teaching career at Shallotte Middle School and after several years of 7th grade math, I moved to Williston Middle School in Wilmington, NC as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher. While at Williston I was given the opportunity to coach the Football team and Boys Lacrosse team. This is my first assignment in an administrative role. I have received both my undergraduate and graduate degree from UNCW, GO SEAHAWKS! I look forward to helping Cedar Grove become a school that focuses on collaboration and teamwork to education the students in this community. I feel that every stakeholder in the education process, teacher, student, parent, and community; have to work together to provide the best educational environment and opportunities possible.
