I have recently returned from my prize trip to SchoolCenter headquarters in Carbondale, Illinois - the town where I was born. It was interesting to see how the magic happens with the designers and support team members at SchoolCenter so we can so easily create fun websites. I'll post more pictures in my scrapbook section - including the scary 8-seater Cessna plane I got two trips in! |

Our school library mission statement is adopted from the American Association of School Libraries 1988 statement.
Our mission is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished:

by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats
-
by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas
-
by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
