Greetings to all Bolivia Bear Families,
The Bolivia staff is committed to providing academic rigor that prepares students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, collaborators and creative inventors. We believe in developing the staff’s skills through professional development that keeps teaching and learning the main focus. Our teachers share their best strategies and resources with each other to expand the growth in our students to be effective communicators with foundational reading, writing and math skills. We promote a positive school environment that encourages students to be leaders of their life and career through teaching and developing effective habits that promote organization, good character, people skills, and a positive work ethic. We teach our students positive behaviors through the BEARS acronym meaning:
Everybody works together
Always do your best
Respect others and
We also provide intervention and nurturing support based on students needs and talents. We utilize all resources and staff expertise with research based interventions and academically intellectually gifted resources.
Parents help lead at our school by serving on our PTA board, Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and School Improvement Team (SIT). Volunteering is a simple act with lasting impact. W.A.T.C.H. Dogs is a way we encourage dads to be a mentor at school. Time and willingness to make a positive impact in the life of a child is all that is needed.
We hope you can join us for the many events that we have planned this year!
