Greetings Patriot Families,
It's a great day at Jessie Mae! Welcome to school year 2023-2024. Our vision is that every student will learn and exhibit skills that will prepare them to be lifelong learners and productive members of society. In order to fulfill our vision, our mission is to facilitate a quality learning environment that enables our students to be lifelong learners who positively contribute to our society in an ever-changing world.
At Jessie Mae Monroe, we believe that learning is a lifelong process and that all students can learn, but not on the same day or in the same way in an environment that is safe, nurturing, and healthy. We also believe that each child's uniqueness and worth must be acknowledged and respected. All students will be encouraged, and provided opportunities and support to achieve their greatest potential through the establishment of high expectations, rigorous and engaging learning opportunities and an inclusive environment.
We believe that the family, student, school, and the entire community form a partnership in which the responsibility for the education of our students is shared. Thank you in advance for your support and investment in your child's education this year.
It's going to be a year filled with new and exciting opportunities for your child to learn and grow and for you to partner with us.
Mrs. Alicia B. Williams,
