Due to a lack of assessment data during the 19-20 academic year, the state lists of LowPerforming schools and Low-Performing districts stayed the same for 20-21. Since all LowPerforming schools and Low-Performing districts notified parents in 19-20 then there will be no need for 20-21 notifications.

Our schools now offer an option for parents to pay online for field trips and other school activities. Information about OSP has been sent home with your children. – Notwithstanding G.S. 115C-47(58), 115C-75.8(d)(7), 115C-218.65, 115C-238.66(11), 116-239.8(b)(14), and Section 6(d)(2) of S.L. 2018-32, public school units are not required to display school report card information for the 2020-2021 school year based on data from the 2019-2020 school year, but shall display a brief explanation that school report cards were not issued for the 2020-2021 school year because assessment data was not collected during the 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19.
