  • Jessie Mae Monroe is proud to announce Kylee Blum placed first and Peyton Withrow placed third in the National level for the North Carolina Safe Boating Poster Contest.  Jessie Mae Monroe has won this art competition for four years straight in the State of North Carolina and we won the same this same competition three years in a row at the National level. This year we have two posters going to the National competition in two seperate age groups. Mrs. Reiter and htese students are very proud of their hard work.

  • Dear Patriot Partners,

    Welcome to Jessie Mae Monroe Elementary School.  We are the home of the Patriots!  Our school serves about 460 students from the Ash, Calabash, Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach, and Carolina Shores communities.  

    Our mission is to facilitate a quality learning environment that enables our students to be lifelong learners who positively contribute to our society in an ever-changing world. Our vision is that every child will learn and exhibit skills that will prepare them to be lifelong learners.
