Brunswick County School System feel strongly that athletics teach our athletes so much about life and builds character, discipline, a solid work ethic, and self-esteem. We have a passionate community and our fan base is very supportive of our overall athletic programs. We appreciate your support and encourage you to continue supporting our athletic programs, student-athletes, and coaches. While we always want to put a winning product on the field, we also want to develop young men and women of character and integrity.

Participation in athletics is a privilege and not a right. We expect our coaches to hold our student athletes to high standards inside and outside of the classroom. It is important to remember that athletics should not interfere with academic progress and it requires a lot of time to maintain good grades and play a sport. While being a true student athlete requires a dedicated work ethic, the lifelong values that are taught through athletics will certainly benefit students throughout their lives.
