Welcome to Lincoln Elementary

  • Welcome to Lincoln!  Our school serves over 650 students from the Leland community.   We strive to build a community of LEADers through PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports), high academic standards, and a passion for the student as a whole.  LEADership is evident as you walk through our school.  If you come for a visit, ask a student or staff member what it means to be a LEADer at Lincoln!  It is our goal to have Lincoln Elementary one of the most desired places to be in Brunswick County!
High quality instruction is reflected in our state test scores with six consecutive years of "meeting or exceeding growth".  Our teachers plan collaboratively to meet the needs of our students with the goal of equitable service across all classrooms and grade levels. Students are engaging in technology every day as most classrooms include Smart boards, iPads, and student learning centers as well as mobile computer carts.  Our staff truly goes above and beyond to help students be successful!
Next time you're in the area, stop by and find out how to become a Lincoln LEADer!
  • Advanced Math Course Legislation
In accordance to Senate Bill 704 due to COVID-19, Advanced Math Course legislation has changed. This bill addresses students' math placements in advanced math courses in the absence of EOG assessment data and parents/students rights to request an EOG assessment for the purpose of being placed in advanced math courses for the 2020-21 school year. Letters are being mailed home to all rising 4th and 5th grade students concerning this option. Information has also been posted on Lincoln's school website and Facebook pages about the math placement legislation changes. If  you are happy with the placement listed in the first paragraph of the letter you receive from us, you do not need to do anything further. If you are opting in for further testing, please return the form to the school no later than July 17th.
