Welcome to Town Creek Elementary !

  • Welcome to Town Creek Elementary!

Town Creek Elementary School (TCES) is the home of the Gators!  Our school serves approximately 700 students in grades pre-K through 5th grade.  The staff works to promote a challenging academic atmosphere encouraging students to take ownership of their learning.  Through collaborative learning opportunities, students learn to work with each other practicing essential skills required to be 21st Century Leaders.  TCES staff are challenged to be lifelong learners as well.  Staff collaborates throughout the school year sharing strategies and ideas to increase their knowledge as well as bringing those resources and ideas into their classroom to ensure all students reach their fullest potential.

TCES implements PBIS, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. The PBIS system is a proactive system that establishes supports and a social culture that is necessary for all students to succeed.  You can often hear Gator students talking about their Dojo points, the pom store or even earning the recognition of Pizza with the Principal, which is done monthly.

The success of our students does not happen independent of outside support.  Parents and volunteers play an essential role in promoting and enriching the educational experience for students.  There are numerous opportunities for parent and community involvement. Jennifer Perkins (, our Parent Facilitator can provide more information regarding opportunities for you to support our staff and students.

TCES has a very supportive and active PTA.  The events this group has coordinated have allowed additional supports and resources to be purchased for students to access each day as well as support our teachers and staff.  We are extremely thankful for them!  Please email our PTA President, Crystal Dameron, if you have any questions regarding PTA.

Town Creek Elementary Info and FAQ's for the 2020-2021 school year:

    * A/B Students will come back full time starting on Monday, October 5th.

    * Remote students who are opting to come back to in person instruction are coming back to our school full time starting Tuesday, October 20th.

💜Parents/Guardians will NOT be allowed to walk students to their class next week. We have 20+ teachers and staff on duty in the morning. They will get all students to their correct location. We promise. : )

💜Bus info- please watch the video that I sent out. (

Bus routes are CHANGING based on the needs of our students- this is causing bus times to change.

Please, please, please look up your bus info online and do not depend on info on your bus sheet.

We do not want you and your child waiting for the bus too long, or miss it because it comes too early.

💜Remember that safety and social distancing are our first priority next week. Therefore I ask that you be patient in the afternoon next week, whether you are waiting for your student to get off the bus, or you are patiently waiting in the car rider area. Our procedures have changed for safety reasons, we anticipate that the new procedures will take us a bit longer.

*Your student will come home with an afternoon transportation tag. It will say bus, car or the van that your child will go home in. This is to help us with afternoon procedures. Please do not remove the tag.

*Please be in close contact with your child’s teacher about afternoon transportation. DOJO is the best way to communicate.

*For students who are returning - please MAKE SURE your teacher is absolutely certain of how your child should get home next week, whether by bus or by car/van.

💜Transportation Changes - Please Dojo your child’s teacher before 1:00 daily with any transportation changes. You may also send a note in your child’s communication folder, or email your child's teacher. You may not make transportation changes over the phone.

💜Early Checkouts - Please do your best to make student appointments after school or on remote learning days. We know that this is not always possible but we want our students as long as we can keep them.

If your child has an appointment, please call the school office and let us know of this. We will not release students after 3:00 from our front office, unless we are made aware of the appointment ahead of time. As you can imagine, getting all of our students to their correct afternoon location is our highest priority.

💜If you are late in dropping off your student off in the morning. Please ring the doorbell and we will admit your student and have them signed in as TARDY. Please do your best to be on time- the tardy bell will ring at 8:35 daily. We want to make every moment count!

💜 Car rider line in the morning- We will begin getting students out of cars at 8:15. Please be prepared to answer simple COVID related questions and let your student know that we will be taking their temperature as well.

Thank you for your constant support of Town Creek Elementrary and please continue to promote TCES Gator Pride in your home and our communty!

We believe that we have the BEST students, families, teachers and staff around.

Please contact us if we can help you in any way.  910-253-6500
