STATE GUIDANCE AND SAFETY/HEALTH PROTOCOLS:
Brunswick County Schools will utilize recommendations and requirements from state and federal health officials to provide a safe learning environment for all students and staff.
WHAT TO EXPECT: BCS will begin the school year with 100% remote learning. Once we transition to the A/B Rotation Plan that is a mixture of both in person and remote learning, the schools will look much different.
PUBLIC HEALTH TOOLKIT: The NC Department of Health and Human Services has put together a toolkit that documents what schools are RECOMMENDED and REQUIRED to do for the safety of students and staff. The toolkit includes daily operations, transportation, etc.
SCREENING FOR COVID 19: The NC DHHS has created a reference guide for Suspected, Presumptive, and Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in K-12 schools. This breaks down the process for screening and protocols for individuals who are suspected, presumptive, and/or confirmed to have COVID-19.
REOPENING GUIDANCE: NC Public Schools has put together an interactive 'Living Document' that details the current guidance on reopening public schools in our state.
