Hello! Welcome to Shallotte Middle School. I am Melissa Hughes and I teach the 6th and 7th grade AIG Math Curriculum. I have been a Math Teacher in NC for 10 years, and I taught in Texas for 4. I have taught 6-12 Math. This is my 2nd year here with the AIG students and I love it. Brunswick County grabbed my family's heart with the quaintess of the County and of course the OCEAN!!! I am happily married with 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
