The LMS Media Center is open at 7:25 for before school activities.

I have taught at LMS since 1999.  Previoulsy I taught Science and Social Studies and then moved to Language Arts for 11 years before moving into the Media Center.

I have a BA in Science/Language Arts and have a Masters in Library Science.

  • How can you help our Media Center be the best it can be?

    Throughout the year we will posts requests through Donorschoose.org.  You can find and help to fund these grants using https://www.donorschoose.org/A.Gale.

    We also collect Box Tops and Coke Points.  These can be bagged and tagged with the students homeroom teacher name.  Throughout the year we will have contests to see which class can bring in the most.  Past prizes have included gift cards to the Book Fair and   holiday milk and cookie parties.  You can also directly donate though https://www.mycokerewards.com/content/home.html.

    Each year during the Halloween Dance we host a Haunted House in the library.  The money raised during this even allows us to purchase lots of fun fiction that might otherwise not fit in the budget.  If you ever have old costumes, decorations or other items that could be used in the Haunted House we would really appreciate it.
