• WELCOME TO YOUR

    SCHOOL COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Dionne DeBerry and Stephanie Paglia have over 30 years combined in education and rely on that experience when working with the students, parents, and staff of Shallotte Middle.  They work with individuals, small groups, and whole classes to address a variety of topics.  Mrs. DeBerry and Mrs. Paglia are available by phone or email during the regular school day, so don't hesitate to contact them whenever you need to.

This month the featured university is North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.  Ask you student what they've learned from the Career & Colleg Hub, located outside of the school counselors' office.  We are also focusing on the Career Cluster HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM.  This is an interesting career path, especially for those of us who live in the coastal region.
