Hello Tigers! I am Mrs. Thompson, the Communities In Schools Success Coach here at Leland Middle.  I work with students in the Action for Success Program to help them reach their full potential in academics, attendance, behavior, and social emotional learning. Another program that I oversee at LMS is Peer Court. This program provides a diversion for first time juvenile offenders so they can take responsibility for their offense, complete a constructive sentence determined by a jury of their peers, and avoid a juvenile court record.
