Brunswick County Schools Names 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year

Brunswick County Schools is proud to announce Nathaniel Anderson of Leland Middle School as the 2026-2027 Brunswick County Schools Teacher of the Year.

Anderson was recognized during the district’s Employee of the Year Luncheon, where educators and staff from across the district gathered to celebrate excellence in classrooms, schools and departments.

As Teacher of the Year, Anderson represents the dedication, leadership and heart shown by teachers across Brunswick County Schools each day. His work at Leland Middle School reflects a commitment to supporting students, building strong relationships and creating meaningful learning experiences.

Brunswick County Schools also congratulates all of this year’s honorees, including Elizabeth Hall of Belville Elementary School as Elementary Teacher of the Year, Kendrick Parker of North Brunswick High School as High School Teacher of the Year, Lauren Foster of South Brunswick High School as Rookie Teacher of the Year, Tammy Albright of Town Creek Elementary School as Instructional Assistant of the Year, and Margaret Rollison of North Brunswick High School as Principal of the Year.
