FREE SCREENING: Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age

Do you have a child who can't seem to put their phone or video game down?  Experts say the average child spends 6.5 hours a day looking a screens in some way, shape or form.   It can have devastating consequences.


Screenagers: Growing up in the Digital Age is a documentary that looks at the impact too much screen time can have on an individual and family's life.  The filmmaker speaks with experts on topics like social media, video games, academics and internet addiction.   It looks at the impacts as well as offering up solutions on how adults can help kids find a healthy balance with the digital world and real world.


Brunswick County Schools will be offering a free screening of the documentary, Screenagers, March 19th,2019 at 6pm at Odell Williamson Auditorium.

If you have a child, whether you have problems negotiating screentime or not, we encourage you to join us for this educational movie that focuses on real-life problems and realist solutions.
