Here is The Friday Five for the week of July 29-August 2nd:
- Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, all students at all schools will receive free breakfast and lunch. No paperwork necessary. Click here to read the details on the program that makes it possible.
- Did you miss the July Committee Meetings? The next Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for August 6th at 6pm in the Brunswick County Commissioner's Chambers in the Sandifer Building(30 Government Center Dr). If you can't join us, you can watch via our Livestream Channel by clicking here.
- Open House Dates are August 5th at Early College High School. Upperclassmen, 4-5:30pm. Freshmen, 5:45pm. Traditional Calendar: August 19 for High Schools, August 20 for Middle Schools and August 21 for Elementary. 4pm-7pm. Click here for more information and school calendars.
- And SAVE THE DATE: Brunswick County Health Services is hosting the “End of Summer Splash” community event promoting family fun and wellness. The event will be held on Saturday, September 7th, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Government Center in Bolivia. Children’s fun stations will be set up with activities that include splash zone, waterslide, blender bikes, cornhole, cardio dance, photo booths, and soccer and basketball. All activities are free and open to the public! A PERFECT way to burn off some of the "School's Back" jitters!!
