HOSA Regionals Headed to South Brunswick

South Brunswick High School is hosting the Southeastern Regional Leadership Conference for HOSA November 16, 2019.

Future Health Professionals(HOSA), formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America, is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE

11 counties in the region will take part in the conference and compete in different healthcare competitions.  Vendors, like healthcare providers Dosher Memorial, Novant Health, New Hanover Regional, Lower Cape Fear Hospice, American Red Cross along with Brunswick Community College and UNCW will be on hand to speak with participants.

About 25-30 vendors are expected to take part with more than 300 in overall attendance.  The conference runs from 7am to 3pm and is a wonderful networking opportunity with our students and community healthcare professionals.  If you are a vendor interested in taking part, please contact Michelle Hines at mhines@bcswan.net for more information on signing up.

Official HOSA uniforms will be required for admission into opening and closing ceremonies.
