LES/NBHS/SBHS Transition to 100% Remote

LINCOLN ELEMENTARY:

Due to an increase in COVID-19 activity at Lincoln Elementary, the school is transitioning to 100% remote learning for students through Wednesday, Feb 24th 2021.
 
Brunswick County Health Services reports the COVID-19 activity at LES meets the threshold of a 'cluster' which is defined as a link between 5 or more confirmed positive individuals.  
 
The school will undergo deep cleaning from ServePro 2/11/21 to prevent further impact.
 
Staff will work remote on Thursday, 2/11/21 and return to Lincoln Elementary on Friday, 2/12/21 while students continue their instruction in 100% remote format.
In-person instruction for students is expected to resume on Thursday, February 25th.
 
NORTH BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL:

Due to an increase in COVID-19 activity at North Brunswick High School, the school is transitioning to 100% remote learning for students through March 1st, 2021.

Brunswick County Health Services reports the COVID-19 activity at NBHS meets the threshold of a 'cluster' which is defined as a link between 5 or more confirmed positive individuals.   

The school will undergo deep cleaning by ServePro Tuesday morning(2/16) to prevent further impact from the virus inside the school.

Staff will work remotely on Tuesday, February 16, and return to NBHS on Wednesday, February 17, while students continue their instruction in 100% remote format.


In-person instruction for students is expected to resume on March 2nd.


All NBHS sports and extracurricular activities will be postponed and/or canceled during this two week remote learning period.

 

SOUTH BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL:

Due to an increase in COVID-19 activity at South Brunswick High School, the school will be transitioning to 100% remote learning for students through March 5th, 2021.

Brunswick County Health Services reports the COVID-19 activity at SBHS has met the threshold of a 'cluster' which is defined as a link between 5 or more confirmed positive individuals.   

The school will undergo deep cleaning by ServPro this weekend to prevent further impact from the virus inside the school.

The school will be ready for staff to work on campus Monday, February 22nd. 

Students will be 100% remote through March 5th and resume in-person instruction March 8th.

All SBHS sports and extracurricular activities will be postponed and/or canceled during this two week remote learning period, including any event planned on 2/20/21.

We ask that everyone please continue to practice the 3ws of wearing a mask, waiting six feet apart when possible, and washing hands frequently while in the community so that we can all help decrease the impact of COVID-19 inside the school system.
