HERE THEY GROW: School Leadership Promotions

Brunswick County Schools is super proud to announce the following School Leadership promotions for the 2022-23 School Year...

• Shawn Black will be leading the Leland Middle School Tigers as Principal beginning July 1, 2022.  Mr. Black is currently the Assistant Principal of the LMS Tigers.
  
  
• Scott Dalton will be leading the South Brunswick Middle School Cougars for the 2022-23 School Year.  Mr. Dalton is currently the Princpal of Oak Grove High School in Winston-Salem, NC.
  
  
• Kelli Dalton will be leading the Bolivia Elementary Bears for the 2022-23 School Year.  Ms. Dalton is currently Executive Director of Human Resources of the Rowan-Salisbury School System.

• Rebecca Heitz will be leading the Town Creek Middle School Coyotes as Principal beginning June 1, 2022.  Ms. Heitz is currently the Assistant Principal of the South Brunswick Middle School Cougars.
  
  
• Dr. Jonathan DeBerry will be leading the career building Center of Applied Sciences and Technology as Principal beginning June 1, 2022. Dr. DeBerry is currently the Principal of the Town Creek Middle School Coyotes.
  
  
• Sam Jennings will be leading the Union Elementary School Dolphins as Principal beginning August 1, 2022. Mr. Jennings is currently the Assistant Principal of the Union Elementary School Dolphins.
