zing announcement to share with the BCS Family...The Lincoln Elementary School Leopards are home to not one, but TWO 2022-23 Brunswick County Schools Educators of the Year!!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2022-23 BCS Teacher of the Year is Ms. Kristin Eaddy.Ms. Eaddy, currently a 2nd grade Educator at Lincoln, will now move on to the Regional Competition for NC Teacher of the Year.
She will also lead the Teacher Advisory Council, a district-wide voice for Educators made up of all the Teachers of the Year from all 20 of our schools.
But wait, there's more... Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2022-23 Rookie of the Year, Ms. Emily Reynolds.Ms. Reynolds, a current 3rd grade Educator at Lincoln, will now move on to the Regional Competition for NC Beginning Teacher of the Year.
From her nomination: "Under her care, her students have grown, not only academically, but also socially. It is evident that she cares about the whole child."
