Mr. Jonathan Paschal named new Assistant Superintendent of Brunswick County Schools
At the April meeting of the Brunswick County Board of Education, Mr. Jonathan Paschal was approved as the new Assistant Superintendent of Brunswick County Schools!



Currently serving as Principal at West Brunswick High School, Mr. Paschal has demonstrated his leadership abilities alongside a remarkable team of educators. He is also pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is a North Carolina Principal Fellow and Teaching Fellow. He has been recognized with the 40 Under 40 Award by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout his career, Mr. Paschal has gained experience in strategic planning, project coordination, talent development, and change management. He prioritizes creating a safe and academically challenging environment to enhance student growth and achievement. His experience as a Principal and Assistant Principal within Brunswick County Schools has given him a comprehensive understanding of the district's needs and priorities.
Mr. Paschal is dedicated to collaborating with the Superintendent, Board of Education, central services, teachers, parents, students, and the community to ensure that all students have access to an excellent education. As the parent of two boys who will attend Brunswick County Schools, Mr. Paschal, and his family are thrilled to continue serving the district and strengthening its educational opportunities.
