Teacher Advisory Council
Mission Statement
The Teacher Advisory Committee (TAC) exists to strengthen communication between educators and district leadership, foster collaboration across all schools, and champion initiatives that improve teaching, learning, and student success in Brunswick County Schools.
Core Goals

Communication Bridge – Serve as a voice for teachers in all schools, ensuring their perspectives and needs are heard at the district level.

Collaboration & Sharing – Share best practices, resources, and innovative ideas across schools.

Policy & Initiative Feedback – Provide constructive input on new policies, curriculum changes, and district initiatives.

Recognition & Morale – Celebrate and encourage excellence among staff and students.

Professional Growth – Identify and advocate for training and development opportunities.

2 teacher reps per school = 40 members total. Current and previous years TOY (or other faculty-elected representative)
